最近の国際郵便事情-Recent international postal situation-
さて最近海外に送る量が増えたのですが、
色々郵便事情もここ数年で変わったなぁと感じます。
昔は確かＥＭＳアメリカ宛、早いときは３，４日で着いたのですが本日１件荷物に問い合わせをしたら１２日間かかると言われました。
国際小包にいたっては１８日間程度かかるそうです。
ただでもＥＭＳは昔に比べてめちゃくちゃ送料高くなっているのに、到着が遅くなっていることに驚きです。
原油高などの影響もあるのでしょうが遅くなる理由がちょっとわからないですね。

Well, recently the amount I send overseas has increased.
I feel that the postal situation has changed in many ways over the past few years.
In the past, I believe it used to arrive via EMS America in 3 or 4 days, but when I inquired about one package today, I was told it would take 12 days.
It seems that international parcels take about 18 days.
However, I'm surprised that EMS shipping costs are so much higher than in the past, and it's also taking longer to arrive.
It's probably due to the high price of crude oil, but I don't really understand why it's so slow to arrive.

また２０万円以上の国際郵便を送る際には、通関手続きが必要なのですが、郵便局へ２８００円ほど払えば代行でやってもらえるということを初めて知りました。
昔免税店で働いていたときは２０万円以上の商品どころか何百万もする商品をめちゃくちゃ発送していましたが、当時は何で発送していたんだろうとふと思いました。。。
全然記憶に残っていないです(笑)
通関手続き代行費用、もっと安価にする方法あるかと色々調べていますが今のところ見つかっていません。
もしご存じの方がいれば教えて頂きたいものです。

Also, when sending international mail over 200,000 yen, customs clearance procedures are required, but I learned for the first time that if you pay about 2,800 yen to the post office, you can have them handle it for you.
When I used to work at a duty-free shop, we used to ship a lot of products that cost millions of dollars, not just products that cost more than 200,000 yen, but I suddenly wondered how I could shipping them back then. . .

I've been looking into ways to make customs clearance fees cheaper, but I haven't found any so far.

とはいえいつもお願いしている郵便局の方々はとても親切で、今回その支店では初めて通関手続き代行を行ったそうで、時間はかかりましたがすごく丁寧に調べながら対応してくださいました。
今後もそちらの郵便局にお願いするのが一番私の事情を理解して頂いているので、スムーズなのかもしれません。
